about us
VISION: To mobilise people for a better quality of life
MISSION: To empower individuals through high-quality personal and community development programmes, addressing their social, economic and personal needs to foster well-being and growth
Our Beneficiaries: The majority of Community Revival participants are from South Manchester areas including Chorlton, Whalley, Range, Barlow Moor, Moss Side, Old Trafford and Hulme. But we also work further afield in areas such as Cheetham Hill, Oldham and Rochdale as well as parts of Lancashire and West Yorkshire. In the past, we have offered courses in Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff and Sheffield. Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities face high levels of isolation and loneliness due to lack of cohesion and integration with mainstream society. This leads to feelings of mistrust, prejudice and segregation. These communities are faced with social, personal and economic barriers which not only stop them progressing in their careers but also has a profound impact on their mental wellbeing.
